Transported back to my own childhood
In reading Kathleen’s memoir I found myself transported back to my own childhood which is a jumble of fragmented memories that don’t quite fit together. It helped me make some sense of the puzzle. I could readily identify with the different personas and suppression of feelings that took place and am inspired by Kathleen’s courage, honesty and persistence to find her own answers amongst the turmoil we call ‘fitting in’ to everyday life.
